give me liberty, or give me bosc
so as most know, i'm at liberty university as a senior trying to get by with my studies and learn some things along the way. what else is there to do besides school...a lot.
friday night: it was by buddy benson's which included some chilling, watching old school nickelodeon, and poker. although i had moderate hands, reigen got hands of a lifetime and owned house. i got second the second game. at least we didn't play for money. reigen and i went to bed at 6am and i woke up just in time for noon college football. i muted the tv so reigen could sleep until 1. we lazed around and saw our first sunlight of the day when we left at 3. it was pathetic, but i don't do that much.
then we got a random phone call from our friends and talked to them for awhile. the day was mediocre until the night time. another show presented by the drop was pattern is movement and bosc. it was good, because i got to see my friend kate who is visiting for the weekend.
the liberty scene kids didn't care for pattern is movement too much, but my friend carli and i liked them. the obviously indie sounding music wasn't mainstream (obviously, hence the indie) but it was a sound that made me tap my foot and do a little groove. i give a thumb up to pattern is movement.
liberty's own bosc is the scene kids favorite. brett lesher has a sweet british rock voice and the band captures the sound well. check out bosc. my boy brett captures the lyrics. brett captures the hearts.
sunday came along and my buddy david (thanks to him for the bosc show pic) and i went for a 40 mile bikeride. it was a sweet ride into virginia's countryside. we got back and hungout with kate again.
my weekend is coming to a close, but it was a good one. we'll see what the rest have to offer.
