goodwill good price

the scene: as i was walking around old town after doing some work at mugs, i remembered that goodwill was around the corner. remembering the sweet fort collins soccer club soccer jersey that my brother bought, i figured i would see what it had to offer me.

it is so hard to go to thrift stores for me. it's either adult clothes that are too big for me or its kids clothes that are very kiddish. i guess it's a long shot for all people who shop at goodwill.

i did find two kids shirts that i knew would be perfect, then i meandered over to the dishes section. i saw a brown and white set that i thought i'd like. then i saw a sixties mikasa flower set that i really liked. with some consulting and thinking, i decided to buy the four dinner plates, the five saucers, and the two salad plates. don't try to bargain at goodwill - it's no use. oh well, nine dollars for eleven mikasa dishes is fair in my opinion.

with any old dishes, i will now work to finish my collection on ebay. so, if you come across some mikasa dishes, leilani d1765, that's what i need. i don't care what anyone says. flowers are not always girlie, especially if they're cool sixties ones. if you don't like them, i won't feed you on them. enjoy.
