so for a fun side project, i decided to fix up an old royce union cruiser frame that was collecting dust in the garage. it is going to be an uber basic project, but it's fun anyway.

i'm fixing up the bike into a single speed coaster brake. in other words, a coaster brake on your bike means you don't have hand brakes on the handle bars. you reverse the rotation of the pedals (backwards) which engages the brake. unlike those kids bikes (like the one i used to have) you can still coast without pedaling.
