i have decided

as i have never (ever) owned a pet in my house and have been housesitting, i have grown fond of pets, specifically dogs. (alright, i have owned a few betas in college, but does that really count?) i had decided earlier that i wanted a scottish terrier but after some research, i have changed my mind. i have always wanted a small dog that could follow me in the house, that i could take for walks and play with, and that would not shed a lot or smell. luckily for me, the breed i found is an non-allergenic breed meaning that even people allergic to dogs shouldn't be allergic.

when madagascan sailors were sailing, they would bring little white dogs along to accompany the women and children, as well as, eat the mice and rats on the ship. one ship was caught in a storm and the ship sank, no one survived, but several of these little white dogs swam into the port of tuléar on the southern side of madagascar. this particular breed found its way to france which the french gave the name coton de tuléar (cotton of tuléar). that is it. i have decided that when i live on my own eleven months from now, i will invest in a coton de tuléar. ranging between 9.5-13" and weigh an average 14lbs., i know i could handle one. they're cute, they're small, they're active, they're fun, they're happy. i'm not saying i'm cute, but i can relate to the rest. you know how you can look at dog owners and know they are perfect for their dogs.

dogs are at least a 15 year commitment...not unless you can find a toilet it could fit down...
